Hong Kong, 17 September 2025 – SOS Group Limited (“SOS” or the “Group”), a leading provider of comprehensive IT consulting in cloud and security solutions under the AmbionTech Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ivan Woo as Director of Cybersecurity and Compliance Strategy, effective immediately.
In this pivotal role, Ivan will drive strategic initiatives to enhance our cybersecurity offerings, ensuring that we deliver tailored, resilient solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients in Hong Kong and the Greater China Region.
As the co-founder of Black Forge Security, a new business unit within AmbionTech Group, Ivan brings over 20 years of experience in IT and eCommerce, establishing himself as a recognized leader in the technology sector. His previous roles as CTO and CIO of an international eCommerce company provide unique insights into customer challenges, enabling him to bridge the gap between client needs and innovative security strategies. Ivan’s expertise in cloud migration, data security, and compliance—recognized by his prestigious World CIO 200 Award in 2025—will be instrumental in enhancing our security portfolio, particularly in advancing our Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities with Microsoft-powered threat detection, response, and compliance frameworks.
In his new position, Ivan will lead efforts to expand our cybersecurity services, implementing advanced threat assessments and robust frameworks that empower clients to navigate today’s complex digital landscape. By leveraging SOS’s ecosystem—including partnerships with Microsoft and integrations with tools like Defender and Sentinel—Ivan and his team will help clients achieve regulatory compliance (e.g., HKMA guidelines) while fostering secure growth.
